Hi, I'd like to just say something about the upcoming holiday. As most of you know, Easter is just ahead. But for those of us who love the Lord we celebvrate His resurrection. I refer to this day as Resurrection Sunday. Please help me remember Him on this day. He is risen and we need to proclaim it all over the world. He suffered for our transgressions and was wounded for our sins. Let no one forget. Give Him the praise He deserves. Praise the Lord for such a wonderful gift! In my country Easter is very important and people selebrate it a lot. Even the non religious people selebrate in other traditional ways like making special food, all the family being together etc.
I don't know about America or the rest of europ but in England unfortunately Easter doesn't get the value it deservs. People seam to selebrate only Christmas. Christmas is important as well but if it wasn't for easter we wouldn't have a chance of heaven after we dy. Because if Jesus didn't dy for 3 days for us things would be different.
On Sunday i will go to Spain for a week so i will see if they selebrate Easter at all.
And for the record our orthodox Easter this year happens to be in the same day as the catholick Easter. Usually Catholick Easter is earlier than our Easter.
I'd like to, donna, but er... unfortunately, I'd hate to break your heart, but not everyone is Christian, and we should not force it. I can perhaps tell people how important it is to me, but I refuse to push it on others. It's not right.
